Kerri was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect blinds for our home. She delivered exactly what she promised, high-quality products within a reasonable timeframe. We wanted room-darkening blinds for our bedroom, and they are absolutely perfect. We also installed motorized blinds in our kitchen and living room, and they look amazing while being extremely functional. They gave multiple price point options and were very helpful in the decision making process. Once we decided, the blinds were ordered and in less than two weeks they were in and installed! Dorothy Davidson134 days agoI needed drapes/blinds for my new home and got a couple of calls. My first call was I told her I hated roller shades and I get her estimate for roller shades. Another call came from “Made in the Shade West Calgary and Airdrie” and am so grateful for her call. She came all the way from Cochrane to me and I initially chose some blinds/sheers but upon thinking about it I knew I had made some mistakes ordering. Kerrie, who is absolutely amazing, called me back because she felt I hadn’t told her I wasn’t sure about the choices I made. She made another hour drive to me and we started over. Kerrie made me feel safe enough to tell her my doubts and am so grateful especially since I love what I got and she went beyond what most companies would do for me. They were installed today and I am thrilled. Thanks to her I got what I wanted. I absolutely love them, superior quality and worth every penny I spent. You won’t be disappointed, she is who you should call for your window coverings because she really does want her clients to be sure and happy with their choices. They were personable, took the time to walk me through all my options, helped with color choice, and just felt like genuine people. After meeting, they were available to answer all my questions even if they were something they had already answered but I needed to confirm. They were communicative about arrival dates and scheduling install. Install was a complete breeze and now I can see my computer screen when the sun is shining in. Kristi Collins259 days agoI'm so glad I went with Made in the Shade for my kitchen blinds. From start to finish, the communication was great. Kerri and Chalene came in for a free in-home quote and brought lots of samples and ideas. The quotes were provided right then and there but without any pressure to commit, which was appreciated. They were right in my budget, unlike others that I had researched. When I emailed to let them know I was proceeding, which was two weeks before Christmas, the blinds were ordered and delivered and INSTALLED before Christmas! She had a ton of options to choose from but made it very easy to choose and gave me a lot of suggestions. The treatments came in very quickly. Kerri and her daughter came to replace all of my window treatments, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, insanely fast (they even helped me take down some of my old blinds I could not figure out how to do) and were incredibly friendly. They made the entire process easy and stress-free, and the finished product looks absolutely amazing. Every room feels brighter and more polished now. As someone who had never bought any form of window treatment before, I has a lot to learn. Kerri took the time to talk to me and answer all of my questions. When they came for the consult, I was shocked at how seamless it was and install day was even more impressive. These two have a system and are wildly efficient. Kerri was so incredibly helpful when choosing blinds. She did not overwhelm us with choice but instead listened to our needs and then showed us only the products that would work best for us.
